New Center for Advanced Manufacturing at the Madera Center

Submitted by F&C Publisher on September 5, 2008 – 12:01 pmNo Comment

Madera CenterOpening in fall 2009, the students of the Madera Center will pursue their vocations in a brand new 8,000-square-foot lab. The Center for Advanced Manufacturing will have four occupational laboratories: a machine and hydraulics shop, electric shop, mechanics shop, and a welding shop. In addition, there will be two smaller labs for student projects, ample storage space for equipment and materials, one general purpose classroom, toilet and shower facilities, and office space for instructors. These additions allow for advanced technology and improved vocational programs, leading to highly skilled graduates.
